A Bit of a Teaser...
What do a marketing research firm, a bloodhound and a re-energized sense of purpose have in common? They are all elements of Evolve’s rebranding. We’re not quite ready to release the hound on the world, but we wanted to talk about the research we did for ourselves. Like it does for our clients, our own research helped us see where we needed to change and is directing our strategic decisions. So here’s what we did. Nothing groundbreaking or revolutionary, just good old-fashioned get-to-know-your-customer kind of stuff. We ListenedWe are fortunate we can conduct research with clients and other influencers over lunch. We asked people to tell us what makes us better and what we could do differently. Then we stopped talking (for the most part) and listened. The end results were thought-provoking insights and really good food. We ObservedAs curious as we are, it was impossible to not look at what other research firms are doing with their brands and images. Some time spent studying others taught us what kinds of studies are being done and how we compare. We Asked For HelpOften the hardest step in any project. Once we decided to make a change, we realized that just because we own Adobe CS5, we are not creative designers or brand developers. So while the folks at Funnel Design Group gave us a brutally honest assessment of our current look and went to town developing one that says who we really are, we continued being researchers and marketing strategists. It was the right thing to do.The point of this post? It's certainly not to brag about our exciting evolution. It's about talking to your customers, and more importantly listening. It's about working with the right people to make things better. More on our process and new look to come. Until then, keep your nose to the ground and your ears perked.
